Founded in 1938 as a seaport forwarding company in the port of Yokohama, Japan's gateway to the world, our parent company, the NISSIN CORPORATION has enjoyed rapid growth over the years. Alongside Japan's growing transport needs during its development into a world economic power, the NISSIN CORPORATION successively expanded its own portfolio and international network.
Rapid, dynamic growth worldwide
As an internationally operational logistics company, NISSIN has been offering a wide range of warehouse and transport logistics services since 1968, complemented by numerous value-added services. The company initially expanded within Asia but its growth has been global since the 1970s: it began operations in the USA (Los Angeles) in 1973 and in Europe (UK) in 1984.
Foundation of German branches
NISSIN opened its first German representative office in Hamburg in 1974, and in 1985, NISSIN Transport GmbH – a subsidiary based in Neuss – was launched in Germany. NISSIN is now active in Japan and 23 other countries around the globe.
